Our First Book Review!

Donna Davis, a dear friend from Canada, has written the most gorgeous book review, for “An Appropriate Conversation With Cancer”, on amazon.ca.

At first, I was going to copy and paste it, but after my fourth reading, I decided that I would type it out below, word for word because it makes me go whoosh.

Oh Donna, thank you so much!

“This book is not just about someone with cancer. It is so much more. It is life changing and heart opening.

It is entirely possible that most people, unless they were dealing with a cancer diagnosis, would pass by this book believing that it did not apply to them and their illness or issues. After reading this remarkable book, my belief is that they would be in error. Although the title of the book is “An Appropriate Conversation With Cancer”, it could easily be a conversation with any illness or issue. That is how brilliantly this book addresses the journey taken by Sparkle (a perfect name for a shining soul) Cofiell, her ‘no BS, tell it like it is’ heart-wide-open friend Sally Dubel, and Sally’s daughter, Leni…along with Leni’s Spirit Guides. I was immediately drawn to this book when I saw the title. It wasn’t “How to Kill, Beat, Hate, Fight, Terminate Cancer’; rather it was a conversation with it and that piqued my interest right then and there. I don’t have cancer but I’ve dealt with enough illness and issues to be drawn to the title alone, curious about the possibility that they might be on to something. I wanted to see how they went about it and the results they had. The book itself is an online conversation between Sparkle and Sally from July 2017 to July 2018 which began with Sparkle’s diagnosis and Sally’s daily God Walk wherein she empties her mind of thoughts and allows for answers to flow in. With the belief that our unconscious thoughts literally rule our lives and that there is another way of living, Sally approached Sparkle with the idea of doing an experiment using this belief as a template. Sparkle agreed; Leni came onboard and the rest is a powerful, loving brilliant testament to the belief that we can change the way we live, think, believe and embrace life if we’re willing to do the work. I was hooked the minute I began to read. I. loved. ever. word. There was total honesty from all involved and so much love, so much kindness shared among all concerned. As well, Leni’s Guides provided them with some powerful exercises, one of which is called ‘The Healing Blueprint’ which I have personally used and have seen fabulous results with. These can be found in detail in the back of the book. It is not long and yet every page provides us with insights and heart opening magic. I fell in love and I am sure you will too.”

When you are talking to Sparkle, miracles happen. Her erudite and profound way of getting to the bottom of what it is we are believing is second to none. I've watched as Sparkle listens to someone and finds a way of getting exactly to where that person needs to see from, just by being her wonderful and intuitive self. Her name fits her perfectly, this sparkling ray of light has blessed so many with her humorous musings, which hide profound trusts, all wrapped up in a giggle or three. Sparkle is simply love on legs. Time spent in the company of this gorgeous soul can only bring more joy into anyone's life.

The thing that differentiates you (Sally) from others, is that you do not go out to people with an agenda, but with unconditional love. I still cannot describe the state I was in when you visited Switzerland. I felt as if I were in a state of flow and blissful happiness. I want to learn from you how one can live like this every day.
